What is Compliance?

Updated: Nov 11, 2024

Compliance is an end, a means, a measure, and a value.

➡️ As an “end” it is the outcome of meeting all your obligations – better safety, security, sustainability, quality, reputation, and ultimately stakeholder trust.

➡️ As a “means” it is the activity of aligning the means toward that end.

➡️ As a “measure” it is an evaluation of the gap between the “ends” and the “means” that drives improvement.

➡️ As a “value” it is integrity.

Can your compliance keep you between the lines, ahead of risk, and on mission?

The Compliance Program Scorecard gives you an honest picture of where your program stands — and a strategic conversation about what to do next.
